BMI doesn't work on a percentage, it puts you into one of 5 categories depending on height, weight and sex.

And muscles are more dense (i.e. 'heavier') than fat.

BMI was created by a mathematician in the 1830s. It is outdated and takes no accounting for muscle mass or types of fat. The fact that it is still used is ridiculous. Much like body weight alone. Neither tell the full picture and instead create body issues.

I love weight lifting and working out. I never ate that much. Last year i lost 40 pounds in 2 months. This year turning 41 yrs old...nothing was working. 3 weeks into wegovy and lost 15 pounds.

I had to weight loss surgery this sleeve so then I thought I’d try this just to try to get the extra weight off that I am caring but yesterday I took a high dose and it made me so sick. I started throwing up a yellow and it was horrible, but I don’t know if it’s this or if it’s something else but it was very painful. I love the fact you’re losing weight but I just don’t like being sick.

I have had bad experiences with compounded hrt from a functional dr, I spent too much money on appointments and tests and supplements. Not worth it. I believe science CAN coexist with Natural and I believe that sometimes its ok to go to a Dr and medicine can be good for you sometimes.

Every body is different and you have to be careful if you are going to take this, in my experience as someone with PCOS and hypoglycemia, Berberine made me almost faint, so I would not recommend it. I dont think its suitable for everyone.

What should be some conditions that a doctor would agree for a patient with no comorbidity to get a weight reduction surgery? Being slightly overweight is not an issue, but if someone wants a flat tummy, just because they hate their body, can they get it? Is it advisable?
